What we collect and why

When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. We use them only to answer your enquiry and, if we end up working together, to plan and carry out the job. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, and steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).

When you email us, we use your email and its content in the same way.

Spam screening: every form message is checked automatically for spam before it reaches us. Messages stopped by the check are stored on the website for up to 90 days, so a genuine enquiry stopped by mistake can be found and answered. They are then deleted automatically. See also the section on spam protection at the bottom of this page.

Cookies and statistics: we only use cookies that are necessary for the website to work, unless you agree to more in the cookie banner. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to see how the website is used, and embedded Vimeo videos may set their own cookies. The full list is below, where you can also change or withdraw your consent at any time.

Who processes your data for us

The website and our email are hosted by Simply.com (Denmark). Our email is also handled by Google. Spam protection on the contact form is provided by Cloudflare. Videos are hosted by Vimeo. We never sell your data, and we only share it with others when the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and any work that follows. Information that becomes part of our accounts is kept for five years, as Danish bookkeeping law requires.

Your rights

You have the right to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to us at the email address at the top of this page and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.

Spam protection on the contact form

The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, an invisible check that helps tell real visitors from automated spam. To do this, Cloudflare processes technical information from your browser and device when you use the form. Read more in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
