Barnaby Swann

So what exactly is it that I do?

Let me start of by explaining the best thing about my job. First of all it gives me all these unique insights into other peoples worlds, proffesions, knowledge and shared curiosity about life. Life in all of its amazing aspects.

Secondly I get to help others translate their complex areas of expertise into concise and compelling stories. Stories that captivate and inspire a desired audience. People who suddenly get to experience new insights through film and storytelling. Enriching their understanding of the world around them.

I do this by sometimes finding common threads and connections between seemingly unrelated fields. Other times by finding common ground between different walks of life. Sometimes through something else.

My only talent lies in being curious and asking questions. Lots of questions. Questions which allows me to stear others through the creative proces of filmmaking and campaign development.

That and a little imagination which makes any good story come to life.

… and one of those stories could potentially be yours.

Lena Hasling Krogh

Education Consultant at Børns Vilkår (Children’s Welfare)

“Barnaby helped develop the campiagn “Remember you can always call Childline” which included animationsfilms and educational material for 6 to 9 year olds.

The campaign has run for two years in schools throughout Denmark and it has been amazing to see experience the impact.

How well the well it has all gone down with the children.

They had great fun with the practical exercise and been completely engrossed in the main animationsfilm.

The children really caught the core message that all feelings are okay and they have been good at explaining the importance of talking about the things, that are difficult to talk about”

Esben Daniels

CEO at Kulturens Analyse Institut

“Barnaby has often mustered tireless energy when going for results – even if this meant spending a weekend confined in a small meeting room in some far flung corner of Denmark.

He has an entrepreneur gene which has proved valuable in developing projects for the arts and music scene that have stood the distance.

I have worked close and more loose with Barnaby over the years, but always enjoyed his way of seeing and developing things.”
